Do you provide service in Assisted Living facilities or Nursing homes?

Yes. We work hand in hand with all types of facilities according to their requirements for our caregivers.

How quickly can services begin?

We usually begin services within 48 hours of initial intake assessment but other arrangements can be made depending on necessity.

How do I get started?

Simply fill out the contact form on our website or call us at 214-636-2277 and someone will be happy to assist you!

Do I pay the caregiver(s) directly?

No. SHHS will send an invoice for all fees. Methods of payment accepted are check or money order.

What if I need to reschedule a caregiver?

Please contact us at least 24 hours in advance via email or telephone at any time as soon as possible.

How do I know when it is time to get some extra help?

Everyone is different whether the help is for yourself or a loved one. That is why we offer a free in- home assessment. You may notice mom or dad says that they ate the same thing several times in a row for dinner, or that mom is wearing the same clothes she wore the last time you saw her. You can call us for help because you notice it takes you longer to do things you normally do or you have no appetite because you are eating alone. All these are very simple, subtle signs that you may need to speak with your family about and contact us…we can help you decide!

Do you offer overnight care?

Yes. You may or may not need 24 hour care but just someone at night when family is gone, or maybe to prevent falls at night. Our staff will adapt to your needs.
